During the school holiday’s children need to be dropped off at the community centre at the time you have booked, along with a packed lunch. We will provide toast in the morning and snacks and drinks throughout the day. Activities are planned for the day depending on the weather and the children’s choice. A typical day in the holidays would include one or more of the following:

• Parks
• picnics
• Woods
• A walk around Northowram / Shibden valley (usually very adventurous and mysterious!)
• Baking or something else creative
• Team games, football, den building etc.
• Games/toys/arts and crafts etc. in the club
• We have table tennis, pool table, swing ball.
• Paved outdoor play area.

We are led by the children and what they want to do and are always open to fresh ideas

Please don’t send your child in their ‘best’ clothes as they tend to get a little dirty at times!!

Mucky kids are happy kids 🙂

Children come to kids club to PLAY and socialise and although we are very relaxed, we do have to have rules within the club for the safety of everyone.

Other information you may want to know:

• We are registered with Ofsted
• We have public liability insurance
• At least 75% of the staff are qualified or training to a level 3 in play work and/or other childcare qualifications and hold first aid/basic food hygiene certificates.
• We only take and collect children to and from Northowram school but the holiday club welcomes children from all areas and schools.
