Breakfast Club
Start the morning stress-free with our before-school care.
- Drop-off times: Open from 7:30am, with early drop-off available from 7:00am by prior arrangement.
- Breakfast: A wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Including cereals and toast.
- Walking bus: At 8:40am, we form our safe “walking bus,” with every child wearing a fluorescent tabard, and walk them to school, dropping them off at their classrooms.
3:25 – 6:00pm
After School Collection
When school finishes, our staff are there to meet the children and bring them safely to Kids Club.
- Collection: Staff go to designated areas to meet children, with nursery, reception, and Year 1 pupils collected directly from their classroom doors.
- Walking bus: Children are registered, put on their fluorescent tabards, and walk with staff to the community centre.
What We Do
At the club, children can play and enjoy a range of activities in a safe, supervised environment.
Indoor Fun
Board games, creative corner, books, dolls, construction toys, cars, action figures, home corner, tablets (games only, no internet), TV, films, and music.
Active Play
We have two large halls and one of them provides opportunity for the children to ‘let off steam’ with football, basketball, badminton and general charging around!!
Outdoor Play
Enclosed play area with sand and water play, plus access to a large field behind the church whenever weather and daylight allow.
Snacks & Drinks
A healthy snack is offered after school (please note this is not a replacement for an evening meal). Drinks are available throughout the session.
Additional Information
- We are open Monday – Friday during school term time.
- Registered with Ofsted (rated “Good” at last inspection June 2024).
- Established in 2002, became a Limited Company in 2016.
- Qualified staff: At least 75% trained to Level 3 in play work/childcare, with first aid, safeguarding, and food handling certification.
- We have Public liability insurance.
- We only provide collection/drop-off for Northowram School, but children from all areas are welcome at our holiday club.
